Three years ago, I came to work in JB from an out-of-state and rented a room to save
money. Seriously, the accommodation conditions are suffering me. A three-room apartment is divided into 7 rooms, so I can’t cook it myself. I have to rush to dabao dinner after work. 14 people share a washing machine, so their clothing can only blowed by the fan in their own room. There are only 2 toilets, one is occupied by the tenants of the master room, and the residents of the remaining 6 rooms will take turns to wait in line... If one day I am lucky for a stomachache, I have to rush to the lift downstairs Public toilets. There is only one tilam in the room, not even a bed frame. Fortunately, my room is air-conditioned. You can still sleep, but it is very humid. Monthly rent is RM500++, water and electricity bills are calculated separately. Compared to renting a studio, it is really cheaper than twice! (My room is rented at RM500 per month + utilities at RM70-90) vs (Studio 1 room at RM1200+ utilities at Rm150+Unifi RM129).
