The room: You'll be in a medium room and will have a private bathroom. While your windows face a building, you'll still have a lovely view of downtown KL. You'll have a queen bed, a large dresser with shelves and a clothes rack, a vanity, and a small shelving unit. All furniture is in good to great condition. Cost is RM 750 plus WiFi and utilities.

The apartment: It is a little old, but in good condition. There's a living room, dining room, breakfast bar, full kitchen, and laundry porch. Apartment is fully furnished—you'll need your own dishes, pans, and cooking utensils, but most other items are shared. There's a gorgeous view of the Petronas Towers from the living room! Other amenities: Gym, pool, tennis court, mamak, convenience store, dry-cleaner; across the street from the KTM, 7 minutes walk to the LRT, 1 LRT stop from the Monorail; walking distance from KLPAC; lots of delicious Indian, dim sum, and café-style dining in the area.

You: My ideal roommate is quiet, friendly, and responsible. You must be respectful of others' space and time, and you must help keep the house clean. My home is my sanctuary; it's important that you treat the apartment this way as well. Full-time professionals only. No smokers. Strong preference for a female in her mid to late 20s. Me: I'm typically fairly quiet at home, but it's nice to eat or chat with my housemate sometimes. I sing, and I sometimes practice my music at home. I work full-time as a teacher.
